Cecily strong
Cecily Legler Strong is a known American stand-up comic and actor known as a well-known character on the show 'Saturday Night Live'. After taking an improv training class at age nine when she was nine, she started her career as an actor. She was hoping to build acting a living, however, she soon realized that she was destined for comedy. She then shifted her focus towards improvised performances. The path she took to her career started on a cruise liner, singing with the other performers of Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong continues to appear at popular festivals, such as Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Then there's Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female improv group. She made it big in 2012 when she made her debut on "Saturday Night Live" in its 39th season as a guest cast member co-anchoring The Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. Her character in 'The Girls You'd Like to Not Start a Conversation With at Parties" was by far the most memorable moment in her series. That same year she began her film career with the short film "How to Sponsor an Uterus'. She spoke out against how women are portrayed as bikini models and girlfriends in movies made by Hollywood in contrast to powerful female characters.
