Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She is primarily the performer. She says that music was always her first passion. When she was 12 she was taking music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. When she was 13, she started writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years later. There hasn't been a turning back since. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic roots. Through studying Spanish and composing songs, she is trying to keep the culture alive. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," which was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected from YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle in the live audition stage. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she as well as three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions during "Hollywood Week". The live shows were held in the 5th week.
