Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American performer, singer and voice-actor. Ariel began her career in acting young, appearing in a Cool Whip commercial at age 6. On CBS's Listen Up! program, Ariel landed her debut television role when she was just seven years old. The next time she appeared on television, it was in Monk Bones, ER and other series. Gretchen played a character in the Disney Original Channel's animated show Phineas and Ferb as of 2007. In 2007, she appeared in her debut live-action role as Alex Dunphy, on the famous TV show Modern Family. Along with her fellow cast members, she was awarded four Screen Actors' Guild Awards for the Best Ensemble Performance in the category of Comedy Series. Ariel continues to voice characters in films such as ParaNorman Cloudy, With A Chance Of Meatballs & Scooby-Doo! Stage Fear. Ariel has a purple belt in Taekwondo. She is the younger sister of the actors Shanelle Workman as well as Jimmy Workman. She is also a talented singer, and she has a band WickedSweet. She also works in environmental groups that encourage the green lifestyle. Her sister, in 2012, filed to be her guardian, alleging the physical and emotional abuse she received from her parents.
