Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer as well as an animal rights activist. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. She started as a photo assistant later moved into acting and modeling. Her two first films got noticed and earned her the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was deemed as the top female performer in box office history. In 1972, her foot-prints as well as autograph was recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Her other credits are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was married three times.
